“As CEO, I learnt not to have all the answers. Instead, be vulnerable & remain curious to thrive in these moments.”

Angela Hands
ExecuStrive Founder and CEO

Hello…

I believe leadership is a journey of continual learning, reflection, and growth. Even the most experienced leaders face moments where the complexity, pace, and expectations of leadership require new perspectives, different approaches, and the courage to keep evolving.

Through ExecuStrive, I partner with leaders and organisations that are already achieving meaningful things and want to build momentum, navigate complexity, and create greater impact. My work is particularly focused on accomplished and ambitious executives and leaders operating in complex, changing environments. I combine executive leadership experience, professional coaching capability, and strategic insight to help leaders unlock their potential, strengthen their capability, and achieve their vision and goals.

With over twenty years of experience in business and commercial leadership, I have spent much of my career working at management and executive levels across global organisations and purpose-driven enterprises. My experience spans the UK, EMEA, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, where I have led strategy development, organisational change, commercial transformation, and business growth.

Most recently, I served as Global CEO and Board Director at Development Beyond Learning, an award-winning and forward-thinking Learning & Development specialist provider. These experiences have given me the privilege of working with diverse teams, navigating uncertainty, and leading through complex environments where the path forward is not always clear.

My leadership journey has not always been easy. Like many leaders, I have experienced moments of challenge, uncertainty, and self-doubt. Looking back, I recognise that some of my greatest growth came from embracing the fear of failure, remaining curious, seeking different perspectives, and adopting a mindset of continuous learning.

Executive coaching played a significant role in my own leadership development. It provided the space to reflect, challenge assumptions, and better understand how I could lead with greater intention and impact. Combined with a human-centred leadership approach grounded in humility, empathy, and vulnerability, coaching helped me build stronger connections with my teams and create environments where people could thrive.

This experience shaped my belief that leadership is not about having all the answers. It is about developing the awareness, adaptability, and confidence to ask better questions, make better decisions, and bring out the best in ourselves and others.

Today, as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach (ACC), I bring together my executive experience and coaching expertise to support leaders on their own leadership journeys. Whether working with executives individually, leadership teams, or organisations, my approach is grounded in partnership, curiosity, and the belief that great leaders are always capable of creating greater impact.

Through executive coaching, Adaptive Leadership Advantage, workshops, and strategic advisory, I help leaders strengthen resilience, enhance strategic decision-making, and develop the capabilities required to navigate an increasingly complex and changing world.

My work is built around the belief that leadership today is fundamentally adaptive. Through the Adaptive Leadership Advantage approach, I explore how leaders can develop the mindset and capabilities required to respond effectively to change, embrace complexity, and continue creating impact as the environment around them evolves.

I am also passionate about sharing ideas and insights that shape the future of leadership and work. I am frequently invited to speak with business leaders and organisations worldwide on human-centred themes including purpose, trust, storytelling, and the evolving nature of leadership. Recent presentations include “Driving Purpose Through Ikigai” and “The Trust Crisis,” delivered at a LEAD executive conference hosted by Stanford Graduate School of Business.

A strong advocate of lifelong learning, I am an alum of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business online global executive program (Stanford LEAD), where I earned a certificate in Corporate Innovation. I am honoured to continue contributing to this global community as a Course Facilitator and Coach for executive courses including “Building Power to Lead” and “Power of Story.” I am also a Co-Founder of the Solidarity Coaching Initiative, a Stanford LEAD alumni initiative supporting connection, peer coaching, and leadership growth.

Whether coaching executives individually, facilitating leadership experiences, or partnering with organisations through strategic growth and change, my approach is grounded in one belief:

Great leaders are always striving to learn, adapt, and create greater impact.

I look forward to partnering with you on your leadership journey.

Together, let’s transform your vision into meaningful action.
